Awaken to Nature

If you have a deep love of nature, and desire to feel more connected to yourself and the wider web of life, this program is for you.

In The Rooted Self, we explore the profound relationship between nature and our bodies through ecosomatic practice.

Through two core modules, we learn how to re-pattern automatic nervous system responses through relationship with nature, weaving the regulatory effects of nature connection into our bodies.

We also learn how to step into the relational field and create authentic connection with the sentience of nature through somatic awareness.

Embodied nature connection has powerful regulatory effects on our nervous system, and science is now catching up to what ancient, earth-based cultures have always known: nature is aware, communicative, and an integral part of our well-being.

What is the Somatic Imaginal, and how do we use it in this course?

In somatic work, we tune into our embodied awareness, which can often arise as imagery, felt sensation, and inner knowing.

This allows us to understand voice of the body, which can also be understood as the right-brain, implicit knowing and memory, and/or the unconscious.

Embodied practice leads us into this awareness, which is key in communicating with nature's sentience. Nature speaks to us through our bodies, and it is through somatic practice that we can begin to hear nature's voice.

This program is designed to show you how to develop your own unique way of relating to nature and increasing your capacity for somatic experience through depth nature connection practice.

The most important part of the material is learning how it applies to you personally, and how you can be in relationship with nature in ways that feel authentic and genuine.

If you have long had a love of nature, but lack language and intentional practice around this, The Rooted Self offers a full range of somatic tools to develop your relationship with nature through embodied awareness.
